Privacy Policy
Doubt & Dawn operates the Doubt & Dawn Metrics Collector, a private analytics tool used to understand the performance of the Doubt & Dawn YouTube channel and related social-media content.
Information we access
When an authorized Google account connects the tool, it may access read-only YouTube and YouTube Analytics data for the Doubt & Dawn channel, including channel identity, channel and video metadata, views, likes, comments, shares, watch-time and retention metrics, subscriber metrics, traffic-source reports, and aggregated performance summaries. The exact fields available depend on Google's APIs and the account's permissions.
The tool may also process read-only profile, video, and engagement information from Doubt & Dawn's Instagram and TikTok accounts when those accounts are separately connected. Those connections are not required for YouTube access.
How we use information
We use the information only to measure audience and content performance, maintain historical reports, evaluate editorial experiments, and improve Doubt & Dawn's publishing decisions. The tool does not publish content, send messages, manage advertising, or make decisions about unrelated individuals.
Storage and sharing
Authorization credentials are stored on the authorized operator's device. Analytics snapshots and reports are retained in the operator's private workspace. We do not sell Google user data or share it with unrelated third parties. We do not use Google user data for advertising or credit, lending, insurance, employment, or other eligibility decisions.
Retention and control
Credentials are retained only while the connection is useful and until they expire, are revoked, or are deleted. Historical reports may be retained while they are useful for trend analysis. The authorized account owner can revoke access through their Google Account security settings and can request deletion of stored credentials or reports by contacting us.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a private analytics tool. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Third-party policies
Google API data is handled in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, the Google Privacy Policy, and applicable YouTube Terms of Service.
Changes
We may update this policy when the tool or its data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
